Helicopter Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Well-Known Southern California Beach
A chopper hovering above a crowded southern California shoreline abruptly commenced twirling wildly, eventually descending rapidly and smashing into a row of palm fronds as onlookers looked on.
Recordings uploaded on social media capture the chopper starting to spin above the shoreline then descending towards the border of the beach, where it ends up lodged among palm trees and a staircase close to the Pacific Coast highway.
Rescue Operation Information
Local firefighters stated five individuals were rushed to the hospital comprising two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” following the incident on that day.
Three people on the street were hurt. Specifics on their condition were still under review.
What led to the incident was not immediately released.
