Nearly Ninety Air Travels Associated to Epstein Reportedly Came to or from UK Airports

A review has found that close to 90 flights connected to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein reportedly touched down at and left British airfields, with some allegedly transporting women from the UK who assert they were abused by the convicted child sex offender.

Flight Logs Uncover Pattern of Travel

These aviation records were part of a trove of court documents and papers released by Epstein’s estate that have been disclosed over the past year. The review uncovered 87 flights linked to Epstein – including many that were hitherto undisclosed – coming into or leaving from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.

Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Flights

Unnamed women were recorded among the passengers travelling into and out of the UK. Notably, 15 of these flights involving the UK took place subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 conviction for procuring prostitution from a minor.

“This is ‘appalling’ that there had never been a ‘comprehensive British inquiry’ into his operations in the country,” stated American attorneys representing hundreds of Epstein victims.

UK Survivors and Court Cases

A statement from one of the UK-based survivors helped convict Epstein’s associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. But, that survivor has not received any contact by British law enforcement, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.

In a response, the the Met said they had “not received any further information that would support restarting the probe.” They noted, “If new and relevant evidence be brought to our attention, encompassing any arising from the disclosure of documents in the US, we will evaluate it.”

Ongoing Document Release and Judicial Decisions

Proposed legislation to release every document held by the American government in regarding Epstein passed the House and Senate last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. Hundreds of thousands of files are anticipated to be released.

Additionally, a US judge ordered last week that the department could make public case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the charges.
